  • How do I book a taxi?

    Reading taxis offers numerous ways to hire a taxi in the area. Downloading the Reading taxis passenger app provided by Cabtime from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store is the best alternative. You may also reserve a ride on our website. This is the greatest choice if you book ahead of time.

  • Why can't I get a quote for myjourney on the website or the app?

    We occasionally do not have vehicles in specific coverage zones, therefore customers will be unable to acquire a quote. However, for more complex arrangements, please send us an email and we will offer you with an appropriate quote.

  • Can I cancel my taxi booking?

    We understand that you may need to cancel your bookin. A 24-hour notice is necessary to cancel a booking without incurring a cost. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a fee. You will be charged the full cost if you cancel upon arrival or while the driver is en way to your pick-up location.

  • I have booked online but received no email confirmation?

    Check your junk mail folder; this can occur with Hotmail, Yahoo, and Bing email accounts. If you are still unable to locate the email, please contact us immediately through email or phone.

  • Can we bring our own child seat for the ourney?

    You certainly can. You are welcome to bring your car seats. We provide a take and carry back service. If you have a return trip planned, we can safely store your car seats and return them to you. Please identify the chairs with your name and address in this situation.

  • Can I book multiple vehicles for my taxi booking?

    If you have would like to book multiple vehicles for your taxi booking, please contact us with your specifications and we will get back to you with a quote.

  • Are there extra charges to travel to London?

    When commuting into London City, the rate you get on our booking service will not include the following charges: Congestion fee, ULez Charge, or any other toll fee imposed by the City of London.

  • Is there a time limit for making an online booking?

    Please give us at least 6 hours notice if you book online. Bookings can be made up to six months in advance.

  • Are your vehicles equipped for disabled passengers to travel by taxi?

    We can arrange for specific vehicles for disabled passengers. Bookings may only be made by emailing us your needs. We will then locate the best-suited vehicle.

  • Can we book with multiple pick-ups and drop-offs?

    A multiple journey booking is best made by emailing or calling us during business hours.

  • Do you provide 24 hour taxi service?

    Yes, our fleet runs around the clock. However, our phone booking lines are only open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. (18 hours).

  • What happens once we have booked our taxi online?

    When you make a booking with us, you will receive an email and SMS alert to confirm your reservation. Your booking information and additional instructions will be included in the email. You are responsible for supplying accurate information.

  • What happens once our taxi booking is confirmed?

    We'll send you an SMS alert and an email with instructions on how to trace your driver. To enjoy the best experience, we recommend downloading the Reading taxis passenger app.

  • How can we amend a booking?

    If you need to adjust the date and time of your booking, we recommend you do so as soon as possible. The deadline for making adjustments to your booking is 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. If you make changes to your original booking after this period, you may be charged in FULL for the previous booking.

  • If my driver is late, what shall I do?

    Don't stress out. The driver might have become stuck along the route. Remember that certain situations are beyond our control, such as traffic accidents, GPS signal outages, and so forth. Your driver will be on his way, and you will always have his phone number. If the driver is more than 30 minutes late, please phone or email us. You may phone, communicate, and track the driver using the CabTime passenger app. For the greatest experience, use the reading taxis passenger app.

  • I may have misplaced or dropped my property while traveling?

    Send us an email with your booking reference number so we can track down your driver and check our lost property department to see if any items have been handed in.

  • How do I pay for my taxi?

    You can pay when booking online or even using our app. We also accept payments over the phone including cash payments.

  • Can I book my taxi online?

    Of course you can book online with our reliable booking form which allows you to get an instant quote online, select your vehicle, and pay securely booking your taxi with easy in advance online.

  • Is the price per person?

    No the price is the total price booked for each vehicle which allows for example 4 passengers with our economy fleet.

  • Do you operate taxis on holidays such as Christmas Day and New Years Day?

    Yes, we operate Reading taxi service 24 hours a day 7 days a week including holidays such as Christmas Day ad New Years Day.

  • Do you have a taxi app to book taxis?

    Yes you can download the Reading taxis passenger app available on the Apple Store and Google Play Store and start booking your taxis.

  • Are drop off fees included when dropping off at the airport?

    No, Drop-off fees apply at some airports. Luton Airport and Stansted Airport, for example, charge from £5.00 onwards.

  • Do you keep track of flights for airport transfers?

    Yes! We keep track of your flightincase of any delays or arrival changes ensuring our driver meets you conveniently at the airport on time.

  • What if I can't find my driver at the airport?

    When you book with us, you will be able to track your driver. If you book through our website, you will receive an SMS alert with a link so you can track the status of your driver. When you book using the passenger app, you can track and contact the driver. We urge our customers to download the mobile app to enhance their experience.

  • Do you charge for extra waiting time on airport transfers?

    Waiting time at airports includes 45 minutes of free time after the flight has landed. Following that, you will be charged. Our drivers will enter the terminal 45 minutes after your flight arrives.

  • What are the meeting points at Heathrow Airport for pickup services?
